My 9yr old daughter recently lost her pediatrician. I am pressed to find a new pediatrician that is just as wonderful as the last Dr. we had. If you ladies or gentlemen have any recommendations. We would greatly appreciate hearing from you!

i would recommend you actually two very good doctor in santa monica area,the 1 is doctor Marna,"very proffessional"(st joseph medical building) her phone number is ###-###-####and the 2de one is Dr Guaffouri ###-###-#### shes working only on wed and friday,very sweet lady and the staff are great over there.

I have a 7 month old daughter who i take to Tenth Street pediatric Group. Each time I've gone in, the atmosphere is very friendly. The only thing you have to be aware of is that you must pay your bill in full upon departure and then they will submit the bill to your ins. company - which is convenient. But, I use Dr. Jain who is fabulous and who once called at 10pm to check on my daughter's condition.

I also take my 2 year old son to UCLA Santa Monica Pediatriacs. I see 2 other recommendations for that office. We see Dr. Kaminker who was previously mentioned. We have been very happy with her. She takes time to answer questions and listen to the parent's point of view when making medical decisions. Great thing about the office, the doctors are accessible...by phone and appointment they are very available and the staff accommodating. On the flip side of that is the fact that when you have an appointment be prepared to wait. I'm sure that's due to the fact that they work people in and take calls as needed.

My daughter is 8 months old, and our family practice is GREAT. It is Peak Health Medical Group on Santa Monica and Olympic. Two of the 5 physicians there just had children. One is back, one is still out on maternity leave. ALL of the following doctors there are great: Dr. Madden, Dr. Chin, Dr. Sayeki, Dr. Taylor (maternity leave) and Dr. Escabedo. The practice is unbelievably efficient (you can book online!), extremely clean, and all the staff are pleasant (and remember you!). I've never had a better experience than this one. And since it's family practice they can take care of mommy too! My daughter had some health problems when she was first born and every doctor there worked so hard for her, to make sure she was treated with respect, care and dignity. They were quick to get her referrals and she saw some of the finest physicians/specialists I've ever met. I HIGHLY recommend them. ###-###-####. Good Luck. V.

We take our three month old to UCLA Santa Monica pediatrics. Our doctor is Dr. Woo and he's fantastic, so is his nurse. There are four doctors at the practice, so if your daughter would prefer a woman, you'll have great options there. His number is ###-###-####.
