Diaper Rash & Pampers

My twins got their 1yr shots on thursday, along with a flu shot. They both had diarrhea from friday thru yesterday ( which I was expecting it happened at 6months when they got their shots & the flu shot) the diarrhea caused diaper rash.. specifically a yeast infection in both of them. Their ped. gave us a cream to put on them 4-5 times a day. My son is no longer red or irritated, my daughter on the other hand is bright red. We currently have a box of pampers. I have heard that some babies have had reactions to pampers. We have alaways used...

Potty Then Telling

I know everyone as questions about potty training, and well as a first time mommy so do I. I know there are no "right" ways of doing it, but I have a daughter who JUST turned 2, she that is very smart and is ready to be potty trianed. I have a few questions. 1. She goes potty in her pants and then tells me that she has to go...how can I get her to tell me before. 2. When I put her easy-ups (pampers verson of pull-ups) she "cheeks" break up. It's not like a diaper rash kind of break out. Do you think the cloth training pants would be...

What Products to Use for an Infant Who Has a Rash

Hi I was wondering what products many of you recommend for an infant (2 month old) who has a very bad sandpaper like rash all over her body. Her back is actually peeling today since her skin has been so dry. I did take her to her Pediatrician who ruled out any illness. He stated it may be sensitive skin or she may be having a reaction to a food that I am eating as she also has very bad reflux along with it. I use dreft detergent on all clothes/linens that come into contact with her. I use Eucerin on her skin which does seem to help a...

Booo, Pampers Cruisers ...

Hi, I am on a mission to find a better diaper for my young one (he wears size 4). We used to use those Pampers Cruisers, and I thought they were just awesome. I buy them in super stock, so I didn't notice until I opened this new stock that they changed and cheapened the materials. I am SO ANGRY with them ... No indication in the box or anywhere that they were going to do this. THe price is the same, even though the materials are shoddy. I feel hoodwinked, and am making it a vow to NEVER buy any Pampers products EVER again ... So...

Natural Remedies for Red, Itchy Rash

My 21 month old boy has this large red rash on his bum/lower back. It started out small and didn't bother him and it was getting better but just this morning I got him out of bed and it is much worse and he is itching it now. The red areas are slightly raised and some areas are peeling. We are letting him run around with out his diaper as much as possible and we use Seventh Generation diapers so I know it isn't a sensitivity to his diaper. So, far we have just been using Earth's Best diaper rash onitment. I am wondering if any one has...

We are looking for a new brand of diapers as Target brand hasn't been working out for us all of a sudden. Does anyone know what the difference is between Pampers Dry Max and Pampers Baby Dry? I recall hearing some bad things about Dry Max, did that mess get cleared up or are they still a problem? Thanks for any info!

Anyone Know a Great Spa That Truly Pampers You?

My birthday is coming up this month and I always do a little something for myself as a single mom. This year I REALLY need a day of pampering so I thought about going to a spa where I can get a full day of treatment including, facial, waxing, massage, pedicure, hair and makeup, etc. If I'm going to spend the kind of money I think I'll be spending I want a spa that REALLY knows how to pamper their customers. I mean like offering refreshing beverages or wine, snacks or lunch, etc. Anyone know of such a place around here? I live in...

I Have Been Using Nystatin for a Horrible Diaper Rash

Has anyone had any problems with the Nystatin? The dr said to use it 2-3 times a day. She has blister like red blemishes near her private. It's right along the diaper line. Causes of Diaper Rash

Hi! My son recently turned one and has started having problems with developing diaper rash. Up until now, we haven't had too much of a problem with this but recently it has become an ongoing issue. I always change his diaper as soon as I know that it is soiled so I don't think this is the issue. I have talked to his peditrician about what could be causing the flare ups and was told that it could be a reaction to something that he is eating. He informed me the only way to find out which food was causing the reaction was to start all...

Child Spacing Advice

My son is 3.5, and my baby girl is 9 months. Our plan was always to put about 3-4 years between our second & third children....but ever since we had our daughter, we BOTH feel strongly that we need to have our third sooner than later. Our "new plan" is to get pregnant in just a few months from now....which would put about 21 months or so between them. So I guess I'm just asking for some advice on life with 3 kids....what it's like having them less than 2 years apart, etc. Thanks!

Chemical Smell from Pampers Diapers

I just had baby number 2 and she was a very healthy 9 lbs so newborn diapers were a little too small for her. So we went straight to number 1's. We still had a few packages from my first that we never used up and were using those before buying anymore. My Mom bought me a box of the same type of Pampers diapers the other day and I just started using those ones yesterday. As I said I had been using the leftover ones from my first born before dipping into the new package. But.... the diapres taht my Mom bought seem to be giving off a...
