Seeking for Good Doctor and Comfort

I would be very thankful for some good recommendations for a VERY good OB GYN in Irving/
Grapevine/somewhere closer. I am 2 months pregnant and the doctor that I have is .........not the type I would like. I like to know the details of what's going on, I do not like when doctors prescribe you antibiotics with ease when you are in your first trimester. When I am at the appointment the doctor rushes the time and answers every question quickly not caring if I got it or not. I need the one who would welcome my husband to be during the appointments. I need to feel comfy with the right doctor. It does not really matter whether it is a woman or a man. Please, if someone already has a good one, spread a good word and I will feel so much comfortable .

What can I do next?

This might be out of your way, but Dr Garner at Northlake Obstetrics (Plano Presbyterian) is wonderful!!! I highly recommend him. He takes the times to listen to you, to answer all your questions, he's very chatty, very funny, and definitely welcomes husbands in the appointments!! And if you need to call the office with a question, HE calls you back personally!

Her hubsand is also a Dr. I had my child with her, my friend on her second with her, and have many clients refer me to her. She is one of the best in her field.

There are several good doctors that meet your requirements in the Grapevine area. Dr's Coulter-Smith, Walters, Allen, Cope and Kindrick at Womens Integrated are all fine Dr's in practice together. Dr Robert and Dr Moser are in separate practices but are very kind and patient. There are several here that I teach classes for so I get feedback from the moms but these are the best. I worked with most of them in Labor and Delivery as well and know they are great with thier patients.
