Looking for Great Childcare in Frisco

I have an almost 2year old (22 mos) little girl. My business is picking up a lot and I need a daycare that will support her development and nurture her appropriately. I don't want her to be "lost in the crowd". She is used to having close attention (we do numerous activities together everyday). Any good suggestions? Has anyone tried LaPetite Academy?

What can I do next?

G., I would highly recommend checking out Childtime. They are on Hedgcoxe between Frisco and Plano. They are a smaller school with alot of tender loving care. They work with the kids, and it is evident that they are caring and loving to the kids. Give them a call at ###-###-####.

Hello,

I'm not sure if you're still looking for childcare and what hours you need. I'm a former PISD teacher and now stay at home mom. I don't run a daycare or preschool, I provide individual childcare in my home. (Only one child/family per stay). I'm located on the Plano/Frisco/Allen border along 121. If this is something you might be interested feel free to email me ____@____.com
Thank you,
Karina Z.

I would recommend that you look into the Primrose Schools franchise. The teachers are very nurturing and highly qualified and the curriculum is one of the best in the area. We had very good experiences with several of their schools in the area and I have heard numerous positive reports on other locations, so they seem to be pretty consistent. My son started public school this year after being enrolled at Primrose since he was a year old and he still talks about his preschool teachers. He is also excelling in several subjects and was even moved up a grade for Reading class. I have spoken with several parents of his old preschool class and they have experienced similar successes. Visit www.primroseschools.com for a school near you. I know they have several locations in Frisco. Oh, and I know people who had experiences at both La Petite and Kindercare and I would suggest you proceed with caution when investigating those particular schools. Good luck to you. Any further questions, please feel free to e-mail me.

Hi G.,
I don't know if you are interested, but I have a small inhome daycare. I am lookinfg for another child to take care of. I have a dughter the same age as yours. They could be playmates. I also take care of 2 boys, 1 year old and a 10 month old. We live in Allen right now but we will be moving to McKinney just off 121 and Alma. We are building a new home so the kids can have a playroom all to themselves. They say we should be able to move in the first if April. I will have an opening starting in Febuary. If you are interested please give me a call.

I love Cambridge Academy. They are technically in Plano, at Coit and Hedgecox.

While they do have state ratio classes, they still provide fantastic individual attention. They provide Spanish and computer class at no additional charge. They also bring in performers and crafts to the school.

They have an indoor playroom so that the kids are not couped up in a classroom all day when it is raining or too cold or too hot.

They have an inground swimming pool and offer swimming lessons in the summer and bring in other extra cirricular activites such as dance, cheerleading and karate. They have a dance room that the kids do these in and also just play in.

My son loves going there. All the staff is extremely attentive and really cares about the kids.
