Weird Symptoms After Mt Nine Month Old Was Given Nystatin for Thrush.

It has been a little over a week since my daughter was prescribed Nystatin for thrush, she also had her shots that were overdue on the same day. She did not feel too well, so i thought it may be her shots. She now has a diaper rash that resembles tiny blisters, slight vomiting occasionally, gas, her fever is now 102.00, and she is slight scratching in more place than one, but no rash. It is 4:00 a.m. and i am wondering should i keep an eye on her and take her to DR. in the morning or should i take her now????

We seem to be in a downward spiral of maladies! Three weeks ago, my 6 mo.-old was diagnosed with Thrush. (Which in itself is weird since he's on the older side for Thrush, and I'm no longer nursing.) We were given Nystatin, and after now our third round it has proven to be ineffective. Help for "Sore Privates" After Swimming in Pool.

We just back from a vacation and our 3 year old swam in the hotel pool several times. Before this, he'd never really gone swimming much. The pool was well taken care of, but of course pools have all sorts of things in them that we'll never know about. He's complaining about a "sore pee-pee" and it's pretty red. He's peeing OK and doesn't have to pee more than usual. He got baths after the pool each time he swam. Any advice? Is it just irritation from the chlorine? When Nystatin Doesn't Work??

My son had an ear infection and was prescribe an oral antibiotic. As a result, he received a yeast rash. Over a week ago, I called my doctor and she called in a script for Nystatin. She said to put the Nystatin on first then put desitin/aquaphor/diaper cream on top to seal in the cream. I have been changing his diaper every time he pees and putting the cream on every time.
