My 4-Year-old Constantly Wants Me to Play with Her: Advice?

Hi, Just wondering how other moms have responded to their young kids when they want you to play with them. Lately my 4-year-old daughter is constantly asking me to play with her (usually pretend-play), and gets upset when I have to do other things like housework. She seems to have lost the ability to entertain herself, and it's driving me a bit crazy. She has a younger brother (19 months), but he's too young to really play with her the way that she wants to. Any ideas on what to do?

How to Throw a 3 Year Old a Birthday Party?

I don't know how to throw my daughter her 3 year party (October 25th). The last two years have been close family only, and I was fine with that. But since my B-day in mid-August, Arden is running around singing happy birthday to herself almost every day...the time has come. Roughly How Much Do You Spend on Each Kid at Christmas Time??

Just wondering what others do for Christmas when they have more than one kid?? I have a 7 year old and a 3 year old and the 7 year old is now getting into more expensive stuff we have a wii and he has a Nintendo DS the 3 year old really doesn't care still but her birthday is 3 days after Christmas and we do keep it seperate so what would be a good amount to spend on each kid or what do you do buy one big gift for the both then some smaller ones for each kid?
