Should I Buy a Airplane Seat for My 17 Month Old??

My husband and I will be traveling on a four hour plane ride with our 17 month old. Should we take the chance with not buying a seat, and hope there is an open seat for the little one, and have him ride on our laps otherwise? Or just bite the bullet, and buy the third seat, and install his carseat for the flight? Realistically, I really can't see him sitting still on one of our laps that whole time, it's hard enough to get him to sit still long enough to put shoes on! But if we pick either a real early flight, or one during a normal nap...

Shouldn't a 18 Month Old Sleep Through the Night?

Ever since my 18 month old daughter started eating baby food it's been a nightmare to feed her. Now that she's 18 months old and she had 12 teeth I can't find anything that she'll eat. Every meal ends with a possible of 8-10 different foods that I have tried to get her to eat but she refuses after 1-2 bites. Since she has a good amount of teeth I've tried finger foods which quickly go over board one by one by her little pinchers, I feed her what we are having, and at the last resort I try toddler baby food which she 99% of the time turns...

Causes of Diaper Rash

Hi! My son recently turned one and has started having problems with developing diaper rash. Up until now, we haven't had too much of a problem with this but recently it has become an ongoing issue. I always change his diaper as soon as I know that it is soiled so I don't think this is the issue. I have talked to his peditrician about what could be causing the flare ups and was told that it could be a reaction to something that he is eating.
