Hello everyone. Does anyone out there know of a good decongestant and cough suppresant? My son is 2 and has an awful cough and is very congested. I have tried the vicks vapor rub and the vaporizer and is helps somewhat but he is still very miserable. I have had him the the dr. twice and they just say give him over the counter medicine. I have tried Triaminic and mucinex. Any help would be great. Thanks

My one year old has this cold which is getting a little better but he has this cough with a little rattle in his chest. MY 3 year old is just starting to get a runny noise and a cough so now he is getting it too. I really hate to continue giving them the over the counter cold medicine.
