Who Do You Think Is a Terrible Actor/actress?

I will probably get flack for this, but Angelina Jolie.
She's not a great actor.
She is a great humanitarian.
But not a great actress.
Just my opinion.
But I will see movies she is in.

Jim Carey is also, not someone I like to watch.

I don't like the whole Twilight cast either.
What is their appeal, anyway?
I don't even find them attractive.

LOL I barely recognized half of the names you listed, guess I'm getting old! Anyway, Kristen Stewart strikes me as the most miserable Hollywood personality ever. I would never, ever sit through a movie that has her in it. And Keanu Reaves has always irritated me and has ruined many otherwise entertaining films. Horrible excuse for an actor.

I think that most SNL alumni are terrible on the big screen - Amy Pohler is awful, as are most of the guys. Will Farrell gets on my nerves, David Spade isn't funny, and there is one guy who is just horrible but I can't remember his name.

Who else? Tori Spelling, Jennifer Aniston, Goldie Hawn and her daugther whose name I can never remember, that annoying and unfunny crass girl from There's Something About Mary whose name I can also never rememeber...the vapid, blond, dumb as toast, anorexic one...

Richard Gere annoys me, as does Kevin Costner. Oh and Jennifer Lopez.

I agree with Kristin Stewart.
I also think Jennifer Anniston only has one on-screen persona. I can't stand when an actor plays the same "character" in every movie they make. Except when its Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn. They are hilarious, even though they are basically the same people in every movie they make.

Nicolas Cage. Egads, he's awful.

Kristen Stewart - Twilight - horrid acting in that movie. She never seemed like she loved Edward it was more like she was constantly constipated.

I hate that Jim Carey has basically 1 personality.

There are maybe one or two things I've liked them in, but in %99 of the things they've done I can not STAND Jim Carey or Adam Sandler.
I can't pin down why I don't like her, but I never cared for Calista Flockhart.

Uma Thurman - couldn't act her way out of a wet paper bag

Keanu Reeves - could be replaced in every movie he's done by a cardboard cutout

John Travolta - only has one vocal inflection

Brad Pitt - best acting I've ever seen from him is when he stuck a blow dryer down the front of his pants in Thelma and Louise

Angelina Jolie - inherited NONE of her dad's talent, and only gets noticed because she hoards children

Tom Cruise and KIRSTEN STEWART.

I actually really loved Taylor Kitsch in Friday Night Lights. (Texas Forever!) However, I've not seen him in anything else.

I do not like Jennifer Anniston, Ashley Judd, Kristen Stewart, Gweneth Paltrow as a sampling for female actresses.

I don't care for George Clooney and don't understand all the hoopla around him. He's not that cute in my book. UGH to John Travolta,

I do like Sandra Bullock (at times), LOVE Shemar Moore and would watch anything with him in it, LOL.

The last couple times I went to a movie, it was the midnight premeire of one of the Twilight's and I slept through it. I do love to watch some TV though.

i'll put myself out for roasting here and say i can't stand jack nicholson. love him in 'cuckoo's nest' but ever since then it's like he's just been doing bad caricatures of himself.
i think megan fox is just awful. magical to look at, but so stilted and....awful.
i can hardly stand to look at tori spelling. she just screams 'bad actress' even before she moves or opens her mouth.

i'm going to throw nicholas cage on there, with the caveat that i actually think he CAN act. he just shoved himself stupidly into the action hero genre in which he sucks. what a maroon. same with jason statham.
james franco. half my girlfriends are in love with him, and he's pretty enough. i just never believe him on screen. at all.

I try not to watch movies and tv shows with the many young, bad actors...most of that stuff just isn't up my alley anyway. But Katherine Heigl... I can't stand her. I've yet to see her in anything I have liked her in.

Why can't some of them just.go.away?

Oh, and yes, I want to root for Jennifer Aniston, but every time she had to cry on "Friends"? She had her 'cover face with two hands and pretend to cry' thing. NO ONE cries like that. I saw more convincing acting in my sophomore drama class. I want real tears, method acting-- pull something up, sister! Just a wee bit of sadness and pain!

Aw, that's so funny because I love Kat Dennings, but I think the writing on 2 Broke Girls is sucktastic (thought I watch it every week for Kat) and does nothing for her acting skills. I can't wait to see Thor 2 because she has a bigger part in it.

Scarlett Johannson, on the other hand, I could completely do without. I don't think I've seen anything I've liked her in, although I enjoyed her more in the Avengers than I usually do, but I attribute that to Joss Whedon.

Kristen Stewart could do with an acting class or 3. I'm not sure what the big deal is about her.

And I know a lot of people might disagree, but I don't like George Clooney.

David Boreanaz I think is a horrible actor. I watched Angel because I like Joss and the rest of the cast was fine, but you couldn't pay me to watch Bones.

I have never watched the Twilight series. I like Buffy too much to watch another vampire series, LOL!

I thought Natalie Portman was wonderful playing one of the wives of Henry the VIII. Wonderful! When she was being beheaded, her acting made me cry my eyeballs out!!

hate Julia Roberts and Kevin Costner, never never ever thought they were good in anything.

I like the dark haired broke girl, not the blonde.

There is just something about James Franco that I just can't stand. He's a schmuck and I can't watch anything he's in without being so distracted by my annoyance for him.

As for actresses, Kristen Stewart it just awful. But I'd choose to watch her movies over James Franco if I had no other choices. Thankfully I always have a choice. ;)

omg the 2 broke girls!! you're so right. that show is beyond annoying. I love Jessica Alba's look but don't think she can act at all. Super pretty though :)

I agree with S.H. - I seriously do not understand why people rave about Angelina Jolie all the time! I don't think she's a terrible actress, but I don't think she's a great one either. I also don't think she's pretty AT ALL! Her lips are huge, her tattoos are hideous and I don't like the dresses she chooses at Awards shows (seeing her as a best dressed always annoys me!) She does a lot of great things for the world, but as a Hollywood star, I just don't get it.

I like Hayden P. and Natalie Portman though. :D But I'm with you on the broke girls.

I can't watch Jim Carrey movies and I am not a fan of Miley Cyrus at all - on or off the screen!

Ben Affleck! He always sounds like he's reading his lines from a piece of paper. And I don't understand why these younger actors like Kristin Stewart are popular either.

I think most of the A-listers just stink.

I really can't stand Jim Carrey and this was before he insulted most Americans. I don't think these top stars realize that the supporting actors are much better and they are the ones making them look good.

ITA about the cast of Twilight. I saw the first movie and just laughed the entire time. It was really bad.

I do disagree on Taylor Kitsch, though. Did you see him in Friday Night Lights? He was really good on that show. It looks like he's chosen some stupid movies since then, but I was a fan when he was on that show.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is horrendous (although he was worse as governor), same with Sylvester Stallone.

The one I can't stand is the woman on Necessary Roughness. She is by far the worst actress I can think of. Can't stand the show.

Haha, glad to see I am not the only one on here who thinks Julia Roberts and Natalie Portman can't act. I am also convinced that Ben Affleck sold his soul to Satan in exchange for his acting career. (One exception was his role as The Fashionable Male in Kevin Smith's 'Mall Rats' -- one I am sure he was born to play.)

I also don't 'get' a lot of these over the top comedy actors like Jim Carrey, Martin Short and Robin Williams. Watching those guys feels like trying to walk through a brick wall to me - unfunny and exhausting:^)

I do not recognize the majority of these names. I suspect that I'm lucky in that respect considering what folks have said about them!
