Yup, I bring my daughter to Webster Pediatric dentistry - they're AWESOME! :)

As for adult dentists, I go to Elmwood Dental, which is on South Clinton Ave - I work at RIT so the location is on my way home from work...

Hi L..
Welcome to Rochester! Webster is beautiful, and incidentally Webster has a great school system (I taught there briefly in 1995).

I go to Q Dental Group and they are wonderful, although I don't know if they're accepting new patients. They have offices in Penfield, Gates, Greece, and I think in Irondequoit. I go to the one in Penfield, right on Route 441. The best thing about them is that in many cases they only charge what your insurance will cover. I pay nothing for a regular cleaning twice a year with X-rays, and I think I paid $3 for a filling a few years ago. I had my wisdom teeth pulled recently, too, and only paid $5 per tooth. I do know they charge more for major work like root canals and stuff, but in general they are very reasonable. And they offer sedation if that is a factor for you. My daughter is too young yet for the dentist, but my sister takes her kids to the one in Greece.

Hope you find a good dentist. Good luck.
P.

I don't know if you are looking for child or adult dentist, but for what it is worth, I take my 5 children to Webster Pediatric Dentistry in Webster and love it. It goes up to teens and is kid friendly. The dentist each have a (fake) furry caterpillar who they "wake up" after the childens' exams. They look forward to it every time. The kids also get to pick a sticker and a prize.

Welcome to the area!
C.

I have a 10 year old daughter and a 3 1/2 year old son and we have had some bad experiences with dentists. Whatever you decide go with one that is pediatric and understands that children are sometimes afraid of the dentist. I would highly recommend Dr. Brian Winslow ###-###-####,he is in Webster. I also know that Webster Pediatric Dentistry is suppose to be good. I have a lot of friends that go there. I particularly like that Dr. Winslow lets me come in and watch what is going on.

I can't say enough positives about Dr. Salminen's pediatric dental practice. I am a retired teacher and used him for my own daughter as well as hearing only positive feedback fom class parents about him and his entire staff and how they interact with patients. Availability and expertise are outstanding. He's a Webster resident as well and his office is here also. His office number is ###-###-####.
