My little girl that is 4 has the same problem. I give her the GUMMY vitamins with Fiber and iron. She loves them and thinks they are candy and they ahve really helped to regulate her! I get them at Walgreens or Wal-mart!

We take all Shaklee vitamins. Another friend does Juice Plus. (you could ask local rep's for samples). They are a bit pricey though. I don't sell, just enjoy the products.

Are you sure that you need Vitamins? First of all, change your water.
You and your family need ionized, alkaline, micro-clustering Kangen water. Check www.kangen4everyone.com. It brings back health, energy, young look. It's amazing!

Well M.,
We are lactose intolerant- cannot digest heavy dairy products well and I have acid reflux to the ninth power- can't eat acidic foods like beans, etc; so, it may not be the vitamins. My family only uses 2% or less milk and the vitamins come from an organic store. You have to ensure that they don't have additives in them and you are not over doing the nutrients. Keep in mind that they are also getting these same nutrients in some of the foods they eat. Unless you are just straight junking out, then I wouldn't concentrate soo much on added nutrients. Just eat plenty of fruits and finger sized vegetables. It works wonders!! Just stick to the things that are natural and you will do great. Keep up the good work, MOM!

Not all vitamins (including Flintstones) have iron in them. I know this because my daughter has to have the iron and it's sometimes hard to find. You might just try another variety of vitamin.

Have you tried increasing her fiber intake and making sure she is getting plenty of water to off-set the iron? My daughter is easily constipated, and I have to make sure she gets her fiber. I usually do this by making sure she has whole grain bread, cereal with fiber, etc. Sometimes I make bran muffins or, if she is really having trouble, I'll buy her PlumSmart juice - that seems to help, too.

M.,

I would like to respond to your situation. Have you ever heard of a products called Juice Plus? They are available in the gummie form for children, but have adults in caps and chewables. They have a chidren's health study program that you can research on the website.
They are whole food nutrition. You can learn alot about Juice Plus from going to website, www.juiceplus.com, or to my website, www.dsylvesterjuiceplus.com. This enlightens you to the research that has been done on this product.
As most children, they do not get the recommended amount of fruits and vegetables in their diet, whereas with JP they get them by taking the gummies on a daily basis.
Please review the website, and if interested in knowing more, give me a call at ###-###-####. Would be happy to answer any questions, or possibly to assist you in getting your child on JPlus. Good Luck to you! Thanks for reading.
Sincerely, D. Sylvester

Our son is 3 and we have had good luck with the dinasour vitamins from Akins Health Food Store. The immune one is orange flavor and the multi-vitamin one is grape (I think). We take the multi one in the morning & immune one with supper. If something is going around school, I add another immune one in the day. Good luck!

It may not be the vitamin. My kids take vitamins every day but they also have bowel problems. The doctor put my children on Miralax. It helps. I know my kids love their milk and that will constipate a child. It just all depends. You might ask your doctor. I know of a great health and wellness company if you are interested that has awesome vitamins and other products. Good luck.

If your child is eating a balanced diet, you really don't need to supplement with vitamins.
Taking immune boosters when you're not sick can actually weaken your immune system over time.
I didn't give my daughter supplements, just fed her a healthy diet, and she was seldom sick.

Instead of changing her vitamins, ask her dr. if you can give her Miralax. I give it to my 2 year old because milk binds her up. Miralax is safe and doesn't give cramping or diarrea. Just a suggestion.
