Used Baby Bottles - Fennville,MI

Yes and I have some Advent if you still need some. I got them from a friend of mine who was adopting and ended up getting the baby after she finished using bottles. My LO still breastfeeds so I do not need them - he hates them.

I never even 99% of them. I would understand if you wanted to get new nipples.

Let me know. I know they retail for $20 for two, I would be willing to sell all of them for $25 - I think I have 8.

I would just buy new nipples and sterlize them. I have used baby bottles from others and had no negative things happen.

As long as you wash them BEFORE letting your baby use them.
I would look into getting new nipples and not use the used ones. Not because of germs, but because over time and useage the material breaks down and may be weakened. Wouldn't want the nipple to "rip" off and have your munchkin swallow it... (choking hazard).

E.; yes its ok, wash them but dont use the nipples again, they can be worn and cracked, get new nipples, and really walmart has some very inexpensive bottles if you want cheap plastic ones you can get nice new bottles, you dont have to use expensive bottles, or cool bottles with vents and such, babies dont care as long as they are fed, and really if a child gets gassy, its not necessarily from the bottle, just have to burp child after every feeding and you do that any way, so go ahead and get used bottles, its ok, clean them dip in boiling water, for a few seconds, then buy new nipples or check out a 3 pack of nice plastic bottles at walmart under 5 dollars, what ever the case, its love that your child needs they dont care about hand me downs, so you keep being the same thoughtful person and have a good day and continue to be happy, no matter if what your chid has is new or not, D. s

Depends on the type. The Playtex nurser types seem safer to me as the "bottle" is the disposable holder. If you do get the bottles, think about purchasing new nipples. BOIL the bottles (I plugged my sink and poured boiling hot water on them when i reused the bottles from my son for my daughter).

And consider the source. Did you think about which mom you are asking? would YOU eat at her house?

The bottle and ring yes because you need to sterilize them anyway the best way to do that is to use a dishwasher but the nipple me personally do not recommend re using the nipple. I don't even re use the nipple fore my own children each child has a different suck one may open the whole on the nipple differently than the next. I would definatly buy the nipple but the bottles I don't see why not.

Please do not use any toxic cleaners to boil them (chlorax, or anything that you use in your household that is a chemical but you use to clean. Always boil them. All dishwashing detergent that you buy from the store has chemicals in them. Use only safe products. If you are going to use a dishwasher, please do not use Cascade or any type of detergent from you the store. Cascade has cholrine bleach in it.

of course.. you drink out of glasses at restaurant that were used.. and then washed...

run them through the dishwasher and they will be fine.. you might want new nipples cause the nipples do wear out.. but the silicone nipples last a long long time so you dont have to buy new nipples.. but again just wash them and they will be fine.

remember the old bottles contain bpa, try to find used bpa free ones. The avent bpa free bottles contain a yellow tint. All glass bottles are bpa free, as are all nipples.

other then that, I agree with the restaurant comment.

If you do get them, don't use the nipples, buy new ones. Mostly because the opening of the nipple will have stretched out since it was already used.

Be sure to sanitize the bottles by boiling them before using them.

I did. I got some at mom to mom sales and I just boiled them to sterilize them (like you would with new ones anyway). I did buy new nipples for them, though, just because I know that they can wear out or tear after a while.

Used baby bottles would work just fine as long as you either wash them in a dishwasher or boil or steam them in the microwave. My suggestion is to look for glass bottles and silicone nipples. Both of these materials are easily sanitized and are more durable than plastic. It may be best to save money on the bottles and buy your own nipples though.

I don't think there is anything unsafe about doing it. I used secondhand Dr.Browns bottles and they worked great. I made sure to ask my Dr & birthing class instructors if it was safe and they said yes, just make sure you clean them really well before using them (in a dishwasher if you have one)

Buy new nipples, boil and sanitize the rest and you should be good to go!

Absolutely OK....just make sure you sterilize them first. Bring a large pot of water to boil, put the bottles in and bring the water back to boiling, and let the bottles boil for ten full minutes. Remove them, and let them air dry, or dry them in the dishwasher.

the bottles, yes! NIPPLES - NO! just my opinion. :-)

I think as long as you sterilize them, then wash them it should be ok. Boil at least 2-3 minutes. Just my opinion.
