Go to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services Website. You can look at the type of childcare that you are looking for and by zip code. You can look at the ratings for each person or daycare. I prefer home care for little ones. I am registered with the state in Allen. If you find someone that is not on the state list, they are doing this illegal with the state. There is allot of information for this. Call them and ask allot of questions that you have and make a visit. Any questions you can call me today or tomorrow at ###-###-####.

While we don't recommend a specific daycare, try searching on MomCheck.com. I am one of the co-founders along with 3 other moms. We created MomCheck as a one stop resource for those looking for childcare facilities for their kids. It's got lots of information along with the Texas state links for each center. Good luck in your search.

Feel free to IM me with any questions.
Merry Christmas.

A.,
for my experience, as a mom and a caregiver, a home setting is better for a baby than a commercial daycare; less kids, less germs, less chance to get sick and more one to one care. I own and operate a small registered in-home childcare close to your area (Frankford/Tollway), and my ratio is 1 to 2 right now. The ideal setting for your baby. Please, feel free to call me if you want more info.
Thanks,
A.

I know Primrose and LOVE them! The two that I am most familiar with are both located in Plano. One is at Hedgcoxe and Coit, and Springcreek and Coit. Here is the web-site:

www.myprimroseschool.com/northplano
www.myprimroseschool.com/forestcreek

Both of these schools are owned by the same family and are just the best in town. They are smaller atmoshphere, but awesome one on one time with the kiddos. The curriculium is the best. Children that graduate out of Primrose schools are a step above others with it comes to public school. You have to go take a tour and see if either of these schools would be a good fit. The owner is at the schools everyday and is very invoulved with day to day activities.

Good Luck!
