I attend a great moms group in Frisco at my church, Stonebriar Community. In fact, I am leading a table at it this year. It is free with free childcare, and is so much fun. It is every other Friday morning, with food and guest speakers, and lots of moms. Registration is going on now so if you are interested, go to www.stonebriar.org and look for Mom2Mom. There is a meetup.com moms group for Frisco and the surrounding areas. It is called Mission Impossible Moms. The link to this group is http://sahm.meetup.com/1338/. Send the organizers an e-mail and they'd love to meet you. They have a variety of day and evening activities, ranging from play dates to mom's nights out.

Our MOPS group is still registering new moms! It is Mothers of Preschoolers and is a Christian focused MOMS group in Frisco. Ours meets at Preston Ridge Baptist off of Hillcrest between College and Lebanon. MOPS is for moms with kiddos aged birth - 5 years. There is a curriculum for the kids with trained teachers and they have a blast while us moms have ADULT time!! We eat yummy breakfast, have fabulous speakers, we do fun crafts some days and other days we just get to know each other. TRUE friendships are formed. You will love it!! Try going to meetup.com and search for mom groups in your area. It's a wonderful tool to help you and your children make new friends! I am a member of the Tots of Fun group in Little Elm.
