Seeking Child Care in Cordova Area

hi, I am married with a 4 year old son and a 21month old daughter. My husband has taken a job in Memphis and within the next two weeks we will be moving to cordova off dexter as well. If you have any success with looking for childcare, please let me know. My son is in a program with a pretty good curriculum here in Arkansas, and I would like to keep him in a pretty good school, but not too expensive because I havn't found a place of employment as of yet

Tere is a daycare right around the corner from you. It is Cordova Christian Learning Center. It is on Bonnie lane. It is a great day care. My son goes to the infant room there.

Hello, my name is G. and I used to live in Cordova and I used to be a single mom just like you. I have a 4 year old daughter as well as a 13,11,9,7 year old boys. Ava my daughter is always wanting another girl to play with. There is a great daycare downtown area that my son used to go to when I worked down there before I had my daughter. My daughter goes to christ the king but its a mothers day out program. You need something full time closer to you at your work. Calvary Day Care on N Second. Its a great place. There's a great church-based day care right outside of Bartlett on Summer Avenue. Trafalgar Village Baptist. They have a great day care and preschool program for your 4-yr old. Their number is ###-###-####.

I also just moved into the Cordova area and have enrolled my two children at First Impressions Child Care Center on Macon Rd (right before the post office). The daycare is located inside an Assembly of God church, but is not directly affiliated with the church. It is a wonderful new facility and my children seem to love it so far (they've been going there for almost a month now). The rates are very reasonable (actually cheaper than what I was paying before) and they also offer a 5% sibling discount and another 5% discount if you pay on a monthly basis. Good luck, I know how difficult it is trying to find childcare!
