Hi I am trying to decide where to send my child for kindergarten in the fall. Our public school district is only 2.5 hrs/day so would like to send her somewhere for full day. Not looking for a religious school. Anyone have experience with Seton Montessori, Village Academy in Westmont, Chesterbrook in Lisle on Ogden, Kensington School in Lagrange at Ogden and Kensington, or Kindercare on Highland near Good Samaritan Hospital?

Thank you!

So What Happened?

Thank you everyone for your input. She will be starting at Seton Montessori soon so hopefully we will have a great experience.

Thanks again!

My daughter has been going to Seton Montessori since she was two years old and she will be going there next year for kindergarten in the AM and then she will go to public school kindergarten in the afternoon. My husband and I love Seton and we feel our daughter is getting an excellent, well-rounded education there. However, we have an excellent public school system in the area as well so we plan on transitioning her to the public school for first grade. The teachers at Seton are great and they are so kind and caring. Hope that helps!

My son goes to Montessori School of Lisle in Naperville on Hobson. He's been there for 2 years now, they offer kindergarten and focus quite a bit on academics.

Both my kids went to the Village Children's Academy in Westmont for daycare. My daughter went there all the way up until pre-k. The pre-k program was basically the kindergarten program, but she was only there 3 days a week so she couldn't be considered in the actual kindergarten program.

I LOVE it there. The staff is so caring and I always felt good about dropping my kids off there. I actually plan on bringing my kids back part time over the summer breaks, and they really look forward to it.

We're at the Kensington School in LaGrange. I love it. The teachers are so nurturing. The facilities are beautiful. The classroom activities are enriching. I really like it, and my daughter loves it. We were at a different school when she was two, but we switched to Kensington School when she turned three and I like it so much better.
