Hi! We recently moved to the Keller/Ft.Worth area and I am looking for a new OB GYN. I had a miscarriage back in January with some complications and was not pleased with the doctor we had at that time. My husband and I are ready to try again (once we get the doctor's approval). We have a very energetic 20m old son named Keaton who is the love of our lives, and we can't wait to expand our family. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I go to Stephanie Carson-Henderson of The Woman's Group. She's been wonderful with my first pregnancy. Very practical and friendly. She's with Harris Methodist Hospital and has offices in Southlake, across from Town Square, and in Bedford at the hospital.

Dr. Michael White, He has a Keller office in The Keller Town Center, Centerview Office Park, 1141 Keller Parkway Suite A. Phone number ###-###-####. I love him. He deliverd both of my children. I also miscarried my first pregnancy. He had wonderful bedside manner and was willing to send off for testing after my DNC even though it was the first miscarriage. He delivers at Baylor Grapevine. I actually live close to Decatur and would follow him anywhere. Good luck.

Hi T.,
I highly recommend Nort Texas Women's Healthcare, www.myobg.com. I personally love Dr. Gagnon. He is an older gentleman who has the best bedside manner. He was voted Top Doctor in 2005 by his peers. I knew I had a good doctor but it was confirmed when I was in the hospital having my son. In the recovery room one of the nurses said Dr. Gagnon was the best. As you probably know, nurses are the best recommenders for doctors. Kay, his nurse is wonderful too. Here is his contact information. He has a Keller office by Tom Thumb on Keller Parkway and one in Baylor Hospital. I love Baylor too.

I live in North Fort Worth, but I am not ure if you want to travel to downtown Fort Worth? I go to Dr. Laura Bradford. She is awesome!!! I cannot say enough great things about her. I have several friend that go to her and love her. I had a friend who had a miscarriage and Dr. Bradford was wonderful with her. I had a miscarriage with my first pregnancy, but was going to Dr. Herd and then went on to have my daughter (Dr. Herd delivered). When I found out I was pregnant with my son Dr. Herd no longer took our insurance. So I asked many of my friends and they all recommended Dr. Bradford. I loved her from the first visit. I had complications with both pregancies so I had many unexpected visits and lots of sonograms. Each time a problem came up she would rush me into the office. There was no waiting I was seen immediately. Everytime there was a scare she would always tell me that we needed to pray and that she would do everything she could to help my little boy. It was very refreshing to have a doctor who genuinely cares about you. She also delivers about 90% of her babies. That being said if you go for a visit sometimes there is a long wait. Just keep in mind if she is not delivering a baby she is helping some other women who is having a crisis. It is not that she wants you to wait, but she will give that person all the time they need. There might be a waiting list, but if you see her P.A. then you might get in sooner or if you become pregnant she might take you.

I love, love, love my OBGYN and his nurses... I have been seeing him for almost 10 years now. Dr. Angelo Mendez at Baylor Grapevine Medical Center. I also had my child at Baylor Grapevine and had the most fantastic experience. We had a little scare upon delivery, with our baby's cord double wrapped around his neck, but Dr. Mendez kept my husband and I calm- he did not make a big deal out of it and we did not truly even know how serious it was until after everything was okay and he talked to us about how glad he was that he took him 2 weeks early. He is a great doctor for me because I am a stressed out individual and could have been a nervous wreck with my first pregnancy, but I think I was more laid back than I ever would have anticipated, and that largely was because of him. I have recommended several of my good friends to him and he has delivered 20++ babies of people that I know both before and after my son was born... I highly recommend him and his staff, Bonita and Yossi!

Dr. Joseph Carlos out of Medical City Dallas delivered my last 3 babies. LOVE HIM and his staff. Even the OB staff in the maternity ward was great. We had the same baby nurse with all 3 and she was wonderful.

I love my OBGYN! Her name is Mickey Hooper. There are two offices:
6618 Fossil Bluff Drive
Suite 132
Fort Worth, TX 76137
###-###-####

and the downtown office
1250 8th Avenue
Suite 445
Fort Worth, TX 76104
###-###-####

She delivers at the new Andrew's Womens Hospital @ Baylor All Saints. We had a very difficult pregnancy last year that ended at 18 weeks and she was so helpful. We are now due on October 10th. Her staff is so fantastic at the Fossil Bluff office. I haven't been to the downtown office yet, but I'm sure they are good as well. Dr Hooper is very laid back and very personable. Good luck with your search!

I highly recommend Dr. Kerry Neal in Grapevine. He is my gyn, he is my daughters doctor, he is also my nieces and he took care of a very dear friend that now has a 6 month old baby that she was a very high risk pregnancy and he did beautiful with her and she had been told she would not be able to have children. He is in Grapevine in the Baylor Medical building. Comprehensive Women's Health I think is the name of the clinic.

Sorry to the person who recommended Dr Langham, he is great, but he is no longer delivering. I have heard that he has a new partner Dr Keithley who is. I work in the NICU at Baylor and have heard good things about him from some of our moms.

We are going through some infertility issues and are seeing Dr Zwernemann he not only does ob/gyn but also infertility and pregnancy complications and is absoultely wonderful!! His # is ###-###-#### and he is located near Harris Ft Worth which I've delivered my son and twin boys at and I will never go to another hospital again. I love that his appts are thorough, he stays and talks about what's going on. My last Dr rushed through everything and it was he said or nothing so this has been a Godsend. Since we do not know the extent of our complications yet I've talked to Dr Z about it a few times now and he has no problem sending us to specialist if needed and as soon as we want. That was a big thing to me because I know too many people with Dr's who say to keep waiting and trying and typically want them to keep trying (i.e. suffering) for a year. They also do 3d/4d u/s in office. And a bigger plus is his wife is a pediatrician in Southlake at Southlake Family Medicine. I LOVE that office too, nothing but gerat Dr's : )

Good luck on ttc!! Just had to add a friend of mine just had her baby a few months ago and they named him Keaton too, it's an adorable name!
