I need a referral to a really good dentist in Murphy/Plano or nearby city. Am willing to drive to go to the best as this will be my son's first visit to the dentist.

Dr. Kristin Holly - she is the absolute best. Located in Dallas near walnut Hill & Greenville Avenue. She is thorough, detailed, but yet so gentle, patient, and understanding of children. She was so good with my almost 6 year old and sang twinkle twinkle to my 3 year old while she examined her teeth...first appointment for my fidgety, restless 3 year old who sat perfectly still for Dr. Holly and listened to her sing. i was amazed. FYI - dr. holly has no problem with parents acompanying their children for exam.

There is a dentist in the Albertsons parking lot (544 and Murphy Rd) that is AWESOME! It's called Children's Dentistry, and Dr. Brian is our dentist there. I took my daughter for her first visit a while back and I really liked it. The dentist chair for the kids is in a car, which my daughter LOVED. The dentist was great with her, and I was actually very impressed with how well her visit went. The phone number to their office is ###-###-####. Good luck!
I highly recommend Dr. Grace Smart in North Garland as well. My son has been going to her for about five years now. She definitely knows her stuff and the whole staff is very nice.

I like him so much if he treated adults I'd go to him!! My daughter is 5 1/2 and was terrified of the dentist until we found Dr. Ryan and his staff. Now she asks to go to the dentist every time we pass by there!!
Dr. Dane Huang on Renner and North Star. My kids look forward to going to the dentist. They literally run into her office.
Dr. Grace Smart. She is located in North Garland off of Belt Line near Garland. My children have used her for about 8 years and we have been very satisfied.
There is a pediatric dentist at Los Rios and Renner in that strip mall between the Starbucks and the car wash. I can't think of the Dr. name off the top of my head but that is where my kids go. I can't say they are the best, but my kids are pretty squeemish (sp?) and they do well there. That whole strip mall is awesome, by the way. There is also a Fast ER Care that is incredible - staffed by real doctors and I have never waited longer than 20 minutes. I'll never go to Care Now again. Both of my kids also see pediatricians right there. My son goes to Mathieu and daughter goes to Poole. My husband and I also see the adult dentist there. We live in Murphy.
Although he's in McKinney, I highly recommend Dr. Tim Brister at Texas Pediatric Dentistry. He and his staff are great with kids and they really take a lot of time talking to the patients and explaining what's going on, especially on the first visit. My daughter loves Dr. Stampe and her staff at Wylie Dental. She had extreme phobia about going to the dentist until she saw her. She is extremely patient. loving, and great at her dentistry work! We made the mistake of going to an Allen pediatric dentist when Dr. Stampe was on vacation. Will never do that again. Dr. Stampe had to redo the work that they did. We also love Dr. Stetler. Dr. Jeff Jaynes in Plano. He is wonderful. My 2.5 year old grandson just saw him for a check up. Not tears or fears. What a good experience to build on.
