Need Ideas for Cute Party Favors

My son is turning 3 in February, and we're going to have his party at Pump It Up. I found a bounce house invitation, but I'm at a loss for what to do for his plates, balloons, and party favors. I've looked on www.birthdayexpress.com and www.birthdayinabox.com, and I haven't found any themes for bounce houses.

What can I do next?

I think it's super cute that you found bounce house invites!! I don't think that because the party is at a bounce house that you need to stick to that theme with everything. The party is there and the invite will inform guests about it, you know??

As for balloons, cake, party favors let him choose.

I'd say let him choose. We got a Birthday Express catalog and my daughter looked through it to choose her own theme for her 3rd birthday -- Wiggles plates/napkins/decorations...and a cake with Cookie Monster and Grover on it. Sure it's an odd combination, but it's her party :-). I had to order Cookie Monster and Grover figurines online and have a cousin custom make the cake because most sesame street cakes have Big Bird and Elmo, and sometimes Cookie Monster, but never Grover. However, it was really a special experience for her and she still talks about it nearly 8 months later.

pick a theme that HE likes.... if he's into THomas, do all thomas stuff... if he's into the Wiggles, do a Wiggly birthday... if he has a favorite movie character - Spiderman, etc... do that... I'm not sure you'd find something that has a "inflatable jumpy theme" LOL... or you could do inflatable beach balls as a favor.... one place I went where instead of just "junk" for favors, they gave everyone a little thank you card on the way out with a coupon in it for a free happy meal from McDonalds with a lollipop attached... That was VERY nice -- we all find out soon enough how much all those little party favors wind up in our vacuums and beneath the couch! :) Good luck and have fun!!

I have to agree, let him choose. If you are interested I can do a customized bounce house cake or other that your son would like. You can have a look at my website http://www.brilliantcakes.com. I can do any character. I can also do picture cakes but I need to know in advance as I have to order the edible picture.

P.S. For party favors, you can make or get something to do with crafts instead of candy. I am thinking of doing that for my daughter's fourth bday.
