Hi! I was watching Yummy Mummy and they were talking about ways to get out and do fun things with kids in toe... They did a stroller tour to museums and galleries which sounds really great and also a special mommy screening at the movies where the sound is turned down for littel ears and there are changing tables available and such. I can't find any details on their website and was wondering if you guys have any idea if those things exsist around here? Now that school is over I will need someting to keep me involbed with other adults! Thanks!
HI. I know that teh Lincoln Theatre has showins around 10am on Tuesdays that are geared to moms and kids. They have like 2 showings (one more adult like suchas a drama and then one kid oriented). The lights are on and the volume is lower. I think its 6 dollars. when i wason maternity i took my two boys a few times :)-M.
Showcase Cinema in warwick (I think it's the one on Division) has that. I have never been but my friends have and they loved it. I think they do it like, 1 tuesday a month or something like that. Check out their website I'm sure you might find info there or I know I picked up a flyer about it once when I went there.
yeah, I belive it's showcase cinemas that does the movies for moms and also the theater at the lincoln mall. as far as stroller tours and mom groups I have no idea but if you find out, let me know!
I know that Lincoln Malls cinema had different movies playing I think on Tuesdays for mom's and tots. www.cinemaworldonline.com is their website. I don't see anything listed on there but if you call they may have more info. They would have movies that had the lowered volume and such.
