My daughter is turning 5 & was thinking of having a princess theme party at the Magic Time Machine. Is this a place where 5 yr. olds will have fun at? All the girls are dressing in princess dresses. I have a craft planned while they wait for their food. I'm bringing balloons & cake. I just don't know if a group of 5 yr. old girls will enjoy this place. Thank you for any input!!!!

What can I do next?

I think it's a fun place for older children or adults, but not 5 year olds. There's nothing to entertain them, other than what you bring to entertain them.

Have you checked the menu lately? I think I remember the menu not being too great and pretty expensive for what you get. Food there has never been good. Last time I was there, I thought it had become very run-down looking.
I do remember as a kid thinking it was fun to look through the different rooms and see the waiters dressed up.
I am sure that whatever you decide, your daughter will love her party.

Last time I went it wasn't very good and it's kinda run down. h wave you looked at DFW Kids or Googled dress up parties. i know there are some places that will do dress up and tea parties, or a diva party.... Can't tell you the website off the top of my head, but i know they're out there. Another idea...Do you know a teenager you could rent a princess costume for and have her dress up and come to your home? You could cut little sandwiches out of cookie cutters and do a little make up, sing along, make necklaces? We had a princess party like that for my niece last year it was a big hit!! Good luck!!!

I kind of agree with the other moms, but I really think the girls will have a blast there. Everyone is dressed in costumes and each of the tables and booths have different themes. I say go for it. They will love it. My son loved it at 5! It is a little pricy but they are on restaurant.com so you can get a discount. PM me if you have never been on restaurant.com - there are ways to get good deals on there.

BTW - there is an arcade upstairs.
