My husband and I just moved to the area in October and I'm currently looking for an excellent pediatrician and OB/GYN in the Chester Springs/Exton/Downingtown area. Does anyone have any good recommendations? Thank you!

I've been taking my kids to Chester County Pediatrics in Exton for 3 years now, and I see Dr. Anthopolous for my OB/GYN. Happy with both.

Hi L.- Welcome to chester co! I have a WONDERFUL pediatrician that i really cannot say enough good things about. They are All Star Pediatrics in Lionville, right on the corner of Rte 113 and Gordon drive. EVERY pediatrician there is incredible, my son LOves them and we visited many places before we chose them. All my neighbors use them as well, and they have a "meet and greet" once a month so you can meet all the doctors. I haven't yet run across anyone who has been disappointed with the care and professionalism they provide. Good Luck!

Depending where you are in Chester Springs, Pediatric Associates of Paoli are terrific. Dr. Kienzle and Dr. Forman are both wonderful. There are only these two physicians in the practice and they have a phone hour from 8-9 am weekday mornings if you need to ask one of the doctors a question. ###-###-#### The office is right next to Paoli hospital.

I see Russino, Chasteney, Marlino Associates at Paoli hospital. Good reputation.

I love this practice....what is nice is that they have office hours 7 days a week, and their daily hours are like 7am-8pm. Very good hours for those of us that work!

Hi L.! We just moved here back in the spring. We have 4 kids and several people recommended All Star peds but last time I checked they are not accepting new patients. We also several recommendations for Dr. Daniel May in Eagleview and that is who we now see. We all really like him. He is awesome with the kids and very knowledgeable. I am a Physical Therapist and one of my friends who recommended him is a nurse who has always lived here and has 3 kids. He is great and if you have an emergency he can also see you. Since he owns the practice he can also treat the parent or give flu shot to the parents. His receptionist is Donna and she is awesome as well. They are like family and treat their patients like family. They really get to know each family. His number is ###-###-#### and address is 638 Wharton Blvd., Exton, PA 19341. Also, there is a wonderful pharmacist, Will Short, a couple doors down so if you need prescriptions Dr. May calls the pharmacy, Town Center Pharmacy I think, and you can just walk down to pick it up. They even watched my friends 2 daughters while she went to pick up her antibiotics. Hope that helps. Let me know if you need anything. M.

The midwives from the Bryn Mawr birth center have an exton office. They provide wonderful prenatal and well women care... much better care than I have ever received from an Ob/Gyn. Their exton office is in a pediatricians' office:

Bryn Mawr Birth Center at
Chester County Pediatrics
Bldg., 111 Arrandale Blvd.
Exton, PA 19341

As for pediatricians:
Kids First Paoli

Hi L.!
I used Chester Co OB/GYN. There are many doctors but they are all very good. They have several offices. I go to the West Chester office but have been to the Chester Springs/Exton office near the Pickering Feed Store. I have a favorite Nurse practioner that I go to now for my annual but saw many of the doctors during my pregnancy so I would know them when it came time for delivery. http://www.cchob.com/contact.html Here is their website.
I also use All Star Peds and they are wonderful. I picked it because it is near my husband's work but many friends recommended them. Definitely go to the meet and greet. http://www.allstarpeds.com/ Here is their website. They have office hours M-Sat and are available 24 hr a day by page. I have used this many times and they get back to you within 3 minutes. I have never had to worry too long.
Good luck with your pregnancy and your decisions. It is such a wonderful time of your life.
