Grama Gift...

One year, I got my son's caregiver a personalized photo album. I had it engraved "Ms. Carrie's Kids" (she also watched a few other children). That way she could it up with the photos she often took of them. It went over very well...and it was only about $20 at Things Remembered.

Maybe you could make something eith your son for her, painting on a blank christmas ornamet with paint or they have pens with puffy paint.
You could take a nice photo of the two together and make it into a calender at CVS or Walgreens.

For the last few years, our boys have been getting personal photo calendars (Shutterfly, Zazzle, Kodakgallery and others let you make them online) for Mommy, Grandparents and their aunts. All of the pics are made to be 1-year off from the month in the calendar (Halloween pics for Oct, Thanksgiving in Nov etc.... We cheat on December and take something Christmas-y a week or two early). They were a huge hit the first year, and we get so much positive feedback that they've now become a tradition.

I am doing framed photos for the grandparents this year.

Starbucks has nice little gift boxes of good stuff.
How old is grama and what types of things does she like.
Tanner could get grama a facial at a nice spa or spa pedicure at a nice spa. My kids grandma loves getting those, she gets them for her birthday or a massage.
I send her a nice Christmas blend coffee and a different flavored syrup every year.

Go to Michaels and they sell different cast molds. You can make imprints of his hands and feet and help him sign his name. They have garden blocks etc. that you could make the impression on. I think something from him would be so special!!!
However if you want to thank her on your behalf get her a massage certificate!!! Or maybe some tickets to go see a play that she likes.
