Baby Cover for Infant Carrier?

I'm looking for a warm cover to fit over a infant front carrier and hopefully, the baby while in the stroller. Any suggestions for a reasonably priced one that works well?

Thanks for all the suggestions about a car seat cover... I'm really looking for one that fits over a baby bjorn, though. :-) The ones that I've seen on the market just don't seem warm enough for winter...

Thanks.

I had gotten a cover at walmart. That would fit over the car seat and would zip up the middle and then would have a flap that would come down over the face area. And there was still room for a blanket if the little one needed it.

my husband and i could not live w/o the Koala Baby Carrier Cover! it was so easy to use and it doesnt have to b zipped up over their head like the Bundle Me ones. i tried to look for it for a friend but couldnt find it again at babies r us, but i did see one from Especially For Baby that was very similar. both were about $20

Hi M., I found a cover for my carrier at Once Upon a Child. My son (age 1) is out of the carrier now, but I think I still have the cover. I can send it to you if you'd like it.

We LOVE our Bundle Me. I got it from friends of mine who are parents and they said it was their "must have" standard baby gift. You can get it at BRU.

I bought something for the carrier when my 8 yo was a baby at Wal-mart. It went over the top of the carrier like those Saran Wrap covers for bowls and had a flap for his face and upper body. He used to hold open the flap to see what was going on or hold onto the sides of the flap opening, so I called him "my little tank commander".

I love my Peekaru too! Love love love it! It's worth a little extra money, and you'll use it every day! I promise! (I already used it for 3 hours this morning, as I walked my 2 yr old and 8 wk old all over the neighborhood!)

I had one similar to the one mentioned at WalMart, but it had a cover to go over thier face. That was great for days when it was windy, raining or snowing! You just flip it over and when you didn't need it, it velcroed back. So try to find one with the cover. It was great!

Do you know if you are having a boy or a girl? I have a nice lavender one that I would sell you reasonably but if you have a boy the purple wouldn't work for you.

Oops! I was responding to a type of cover for a infant car seat. Sorry! We always dressed the baby warmly and then tucked a blanket in the front carrier. Hope others have ideas for you.

I got one at my baby shower. They are the best things ever. I don't know the name brand, but I have seen them at Wal-Mart and Target. They were under $20. It's just an elastic band that fits around the carrier and you don't have to take it off when you put it in the car. I highly recommend them. I used it for both of my boys.

I highly recommend getting an infant seat cover from www.smockadoodles.com I have one and love it and I buy one for every baby shower that I go to. They are made out of fleece and you can use it from late fall until early spring. There is a zipper that allows full
access to your child and a flap that can be secured over the baby's face for transporting the child from the
house to the car when the weather is cold or damp. Velcro on the back secures the flap open or closed. It is wonderfur because then there is no need for blankets or heavy jackets. It only costs $22 plus shipping. They are hand made by a lady in TN and you can pick from many different colors and designs. All of my friends have loved them.

We used one from Babies R Us that fit over top of the carrier and zipped up the middle. Since it didn't mess with the straps in the carrier it was very easy to take on and off. We loved it! She looked so cozy and comfy in there. We would zip it all the way when it was really cold (so just her face peeked out!) and only half way in the spring. Good luck! It's worth the investment!
