I have been looking around for awhile and can't seem to find any local playgroups, I found a few in macomb county but I don't have my license so I can't get out that way :O( Anyone live around Taylor and have any kids that would play with a 2.5 yr old? Or anyone want to set up a date to meet at either the Detroit zoo or Toledo zoo? ( would have to bring my hubby or my best friend for those, lol) Oh and my best friend has a little boy around 1.5 yrs.

Im in the same boat... well looking for a play group that is close.. and AFTER work. I work full time, and dont have time to travel all over town.
That meet up- doesnt have anything for us! im a member and still a member, but havent had any luck.

If you go to Meetup.com there are moms groups in the area. I know that there is a Downriver Moms Group, a Wyandotte Moms Group and a Dearborn Heights group. Just do a search. They are wonderful to be a part of.
I have a playgroup set up through yahoo. The moms can chat via e-mail. We set up playdates and moms night outs, we also have family nights, etc. I live in South Rockwood and most of the other members live in the same area.
